To have intelligence

To have intelligence you don't have to be the straight A student,
you don't have to be the smartest. 
Having intelligence can mean many things.
The dictionary meaning defines intelligence as
 "the capacity to acquire and apply knowledge by means of thought and reason."
Even though the dictionary has the meaning,
it does leave out many other ways of having intelligence.
having intelligence could be,


 birds building a nest, 
 animals foraging for food,
 humans inventing machines,
 the fact that birds travel south in the winter,
 or humans coping with everyday situations,


All of the above are examples that require the capability to think using our brains,
 and the intelligence that we and animals have.
We all have some sort of intelligence that we use to think,
 and make decisions on a daily basis.
